Frequently asked questions
Do you offer refunds?
Yes. If a paid plan isn't working out, contact us within 14 days of a charge for a full refund — no questions asked. Annual plans are refundable pro-rata after that window.
What happens when I downgrade?
You keep your current plan's features until the end of the billing period, then move to the lower tier. Nothing is deleted — projects beyond the Free limit become read-only until you're back under the cap or upgrade again.
How do AI credits work?
Each AI operation spends credits (e.g. HD background remove = 1, 4× upscale = 4). Pro includes 500 credits/month and Business 2,000 per seat. Unused credits roll over up to 2× your monthly allowance.
How does team billing work?
Business is billed per seat with a 3-seat minimum. Add or remove seats anytime — we prorate the difference on your next invoice. Every seat gets its own 2,000 monthly credits.
Are you GDPR compliant?
Yes. We're GDPR-compliant, process data in-region where required, and offer a one-click data export and account deletion. Enterprise adds data-residency and no-retention guarantees.
Can I cancel anytime?
Anytime, from your billing settings — no phone calls, no retention gauntlet. You keep access through the end of the period you've already paid for.
What are the Free tier limits?
Free gives you every client-side tool (compress, resize, convert, crop, annotate, OCR-basic) with no usage cap, up to 25 MB per image and 3 saved projects. AI features are Pro-only, with a one-time free background-remove trial.
What's your watermark policy?
Client-side edits are never watermarked on any plan. Server-processed AI outputs on the Free trial carry a small "Made with OpusImg" mark; all Pro, Business, and Enterprise outputs are clean.
Is there API access?
A usage-based API ships later in the roadmap, priced per operation ($0.005–$0.05 depending on type and volume). Want early access? Reach out via Contact sales and we'll add you to the waitlist.
What does Enterprise include?
Everything in Business plus SSO/SAML, audit logging, RBAC, data residency, no-retention processing, an on-prem option, and a 99.95% uptime SLA — all with custom pricing and a dedicated contact.
